Kuwait City, July 23: As part of Kuwait Airways’ endeavours to implement its social responsibility programs, the company organized an educational field trip for the youth participating in the Scientific Center’s training program at the company’s various facilities. The trip was organized over a three-day period from 14-16 July 2024, which included a visit to the aircraft hangar facilities at the Engineering department, where participants were introduced to the mechanisms and procedures related to aircraft maintenance and inspection, implemented according to advanced techniques and technology.

The visit was an opportunity for the attendees to interact with the engineers and to enquire about the nature of their work. During the tour, the participants expressed immense interest in understanding aspects related to aircraft maintenance and procedures required for flight operations.

Kuwait Airways stated that the visit is a unique opportunity for the future generations to understand about the company, its modern fleet, and the remarkable development it has attained till date in conducting technical maintenance of aircraft and monitoring their performance with advanced technology and equipment, complying with the best international standards in the air transport sector.

The company added that it is keen to organize such educational trips at the various facilities to enhance the knowledge and awareness among the younger generation in the field of aviation. The visit is also part of the company’s social responsibility programs that aims at enriching the educational experiences of young people in a manner that is both beneficial and enjoyable, to understand more about Kuwait Airways, one of the most leading companies in the region with its legacy in the field of aviation.
