KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16 : The summit of the 15th round of the Zain Premier League between Kuwait and Al-Arabi, held at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Al-Arabi Club on Saturday, ended in a goalless draw. Thus, the battle for the top spot continues between the two teams, who shared the points after an exciting and competitive match that lasted until the final minutes. Both sides tried to seize victory by launching attacks and diversifying their offensive strategies, in addition to the attempts of both coaches to make substitutions to change the outcome. However, all efforts proved futile as the match ended without goals. With this result, Kuwait increased its points to 40, maintaining the top spot in the standings, while Al-Arabi reached 38 points, staying in second place. The results of the other matches in the same round saw victories for Al- Nasr, Al-Qadisiyah, and Al-Salmiya over Al-Yarmouk, Al-Tadamon, and Khaitan, respectively, while Kazma tied with Al-Fahaheel.

Meanwhile, Al-Salmiya SC defeated Khaitan 1-0 in the 15th round of the Zain Premier League on Saturday at Thamer Stadium. The home team scored the only goal of the match through Al-Sanousi Al-Hadi in the 19th minute, earning three valuable points. Al-Salmiya held onto the lead until the final whistle, despite Khaitan’s efforts to equalize. However, Khaitan was unable to convert their attempts into goals. Al-Salmiya increased their points to 27, securing fourth place, while Khaitan remained with eight points in ninth place.  (KUNA)
