KUWAIT CITY, April 2: In the first group matches of the Zain Football League, Kuwait Club and Kazma emerged victorious. Kuwait Club defeated Al-Salmiya 3-1 with goals from Yassin Al-Khunaisi and Muhammad Marhoon, while Badr Jamal scored the only goal for Al-Salmiya. Meanwhile, Kazma defeated Al-Fahaheel 2-0 with goals from Ahmed Arsan and Shabeeb Al-Khalidi.
The win places Kuwait Club at the top of the league with 38 points, followed by Kazma with 32 points. Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Arabi will complete the 19th round with a match tomorrow.
