KUWAIT CITY, July 31: Dr. Anwar Al-Mudhaf, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, praised the strong and enduring brotherly relations between Kuwait and Morocco during a ceremony held by the Moroccan embassy in Kuwait to celebrate the 25th anniversary of King Mohammed VI's accession to the throne.

In his statement to reporters, Dr. Al-Mudhaf extended the greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. He highlighted the collaborative economic initiatives between Kuwait and Morocco, noting their joint projects through the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, which has supported various development projects in Morocco's infrastructure.

Dr. Al-Mudhaf mentioned that Kuwaiti investments in Morocco exceed USD 1.5 billion across multiple sectors, reflecting Kuwait’s positive view of Morocco's investment opportunities. He also emphasized the significant role of the Kuwaiti private sector and its long-standing investment history in Morocco.

Moroccan Ambassador Ali bin Issa, in turn, commended Kuwait’s unwavering support for the unity and territorial integrity of Morocco. In his speech, Ambassador bin Issa underscored the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation and integration to new and elevated levels.
