KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: The head of the Kuwaiti American Football Committee, Madi Al-Mutairi, has announced that Kuwait’s national flag football team will host Poland’s national team in a joint training camp set for mid-February. The camp will feature two friendly matches between the teams as part of Kuwait's preparations for the 2025 Asian Cup and its broader plan to compete in the qualifying rounds for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Al-Mutairi highlighted that this initiative is part of the ongoing support from Sheikh Mishaal Talal Al-Fahad, the founder of American football in Kuwait. He added that efforts are underway to coordinate with other advanced teams in the sport to organize additional friendly matches. These initiatives aim to provide valuable experience for Kuwait's players and enhance the sport’s development in the country.
Expressing gratitude for Sheikh Mishaal’s contributions, Al-Mutairi noted that his support and active involvement are instrumental in advancing the committee’s long-term goals for upcoming international events.
