Kuwait and Saudi Arabia sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of cybersecurity on Thursday.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2, (Agencies): Kuwait and Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of cybersecurity. The MoU, which aims to enhance information sharing and expertise exchange between both nations, was signed on the second day of the Global Cybersecurity Forum hosted by Riyadh.

The signing of the MoU was conducted by Major General (Ret.) Engineer Mohammad Bouareek, the President of the National Cybersecurity Center in Kuwait, and Engineer Majed Al-Mazeed, the Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority in Saudi Arabia.

Bouareek emphasized the significance of cooperation in this field due to its substantial positive impact on countering cyberattacks and safeguarding cyberspace. He expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for hosting the forum and for their warm hospitality. This cooperation underscores the commitment of both countries to bolster their cybersecurity capabilities.
