KUWAIT CITY, April 6: On Sunday, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi met with Dr. Sultan Al-Neyadi, the United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Youth Affairs, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in various youth fields.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Neyadi emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries and implementing the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
Minister Al-Mutairi highlighted that strengthening joint efforts and exchanging experiences between youth institutions in both countries would contribute to the advancement of youth work and support sustainable development. He added that such collaboration would help sharpen youth leadership skills and promote resilience.
Both parties agreed on the need to adopt a unified Gulf vision for addressing youth issues, which would elevate the status of Gulf youth and align their aspirations. The two ministers also agreed on the importance of exchanging visits and expertise between youth delegations, which would further enhance cooperation and empower youth across the region.
After the meeting, both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to empowering Gulf youth and supporting their ambitions. They exchanged commemorative gifts to mark the occasion.
Minister Al-Mutairi welcomed Minister Al-Neyadi and his delegation to Kuwait, acknowledging Kuwait’s role as a leader in youth work at various levels. In his comments, Dr. Al-Neyadi praised Kuwait’s pioneering initiatives in youth development and expressed the UAE's desire to strengthen joint efforts with Kuwait. He emphasized the importance of these meetings in fostering constructive cooperation and investing in youth capabilities to prepare future leaders who will drive positive change in their communities.
Dr. Al-Neyadi also noted that the leaders of both countries are committed to empowering Gulf youth and supporting their aspirations. He extended his gratitude to the Kuwaiti side for the warm hospitality and reception during his official visit.
As a gesture of goodwill, the Public Authority for Youth presented Minister Al-Neyadi with a unique heritage artwork created by Kuwaiti youth from the Youth Heritage Crafts Center. In return, Minister Al-Neyadi gifted Minister Al-Mutairi a photograph of himself with a team of astronauts from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, featuring the logos for the Zayed Ambition 1 and Zayed Ambition 2 missions.
