Kuwait Army Soldier Exposed for Holding Dual Nationalities

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: A case of forged nationality was uncovered through the diligent cooperation between military institutions and the vigilance of officials. The case involved a soldier who had fraudulently obtained Kuwaiti nationality. The soldier, who was serving in the army, was asked by his officer to provide a phone number from his phone. However, when the officer accessed the soldier's phone, he noticed something suspicious on the screen, which raised his concerns.

This observation led to an immediate investigation by the relevant authorities within the military. Upon further inquiry, it was discovered that the soldier was involved in forgery and had two nationalities—one Kuwaiti and one from a Gulf state. Both identities bore the same first and last name, with the only difference being the names of the father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. This discrepancy suggested the soldier had obtained these nationalities through fraudulent means.

The matter was promptly referred to the Public Prosecution, and the case was processed under the provisions of the Nationality Law. The authorities are now taking the necessary legal actions to address the situation.
