KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: In a concerted effort to enforce residency and labor laws, Kuwait's Ministry of Interior conducted 20 inspection operations between December 1 and 5, 2024, leading to the arrest of 317 violators. Additionally, 610 individuals found in violation of residency regulations were deported during the same period.

This crackdown, directed by His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, reflects ongoing intensive security measures across all governorates. The Ministry emphasized its commitment to pursuing violators and holding both workers and employers accountable for breaches of residency laws. Security campaigns are expected to continue in various regions to ensure strict compliance.
