In line with the directives of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior has intensified efforts to enforce residency and labor laws across Kuwait.
Since the start of the new year, security forces have arrested 509 individuals for violating residency and labor laws and deported 648 others. These operations are part of a comprehensive security deployment across all governorates to uphold law and order.
According to the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations, 28 extensive security campaigns were conducted nationwide between January 1, 2025, and January 13, 2025, targeting violators and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
The Ministry emphasized its commitment to enforcing the law, holding both workers and employers accountable for violations. It reiterated that legal measures will be taken against anyone found breaching residency or labor laws.
