KUWAIT CITY, Sep 15: The Kuwaiti Interpol under direct instructions from Major General Hamed Al-Dawas, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Criminal Security Affairs, has arrested a Bahraini fugitive. This individual, who faces multiple criminal charges in Bahrain -- including a life sentence -- had an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol. The Kuwaiti authorities were alerted by their Bahraini counterparts about the fugitive’s presence in Kuwait after he had evaded arrest in Bahrain. The 36-year-old suspect is now being handed over to Bahraini security authorities in compliance with the international arrest warrant.
