CAIRO, July 10: The national athletics team delegation returned from Egypt, concluding a successful campaign at the Arab Youth Athletics Championship (under 23 years old). The team secured a total of 5 medals, with Abdullah Al-Zankawi securing gold in the discus throw with a distance of 53.96 meters on the final day. Yaqoub Al-Azmi claimed bronze in the 200 meters with a time of 21.26 seconds.

Hussein Dashti, Secretary General and head of the delegation commended the exceptional performance of Kuwait's athletes in the Arab competitions, stating, "All athletes demonstrated advanced levels, highlighting significant technical improvement. Even those who did not podium managed to set personal records, reflecting their commitment to peak performance in a highly competitive field featuring top athletes from 12 Arab nations.
