KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: The Committee for Combating the Issue of Bachelors Residing in Private Residential Properties, represented by the Emergency Team of the Hawally Governorate Municipality Branch, successfully apprehended an expatriate from Bangladesh, who goes by the alias "Al-Sharif." He had been leasing properties to expat bachelors by converting them into rental rooms and apartments.

Ibrahim Al-Sabaan, the team leader, stated that they, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and its Investigation Department, closely monitored the activities of this Bangladeshi expatriate. After conducting thorough research and investigation, it was confirmed that he had violated the municipal laws and regulations of Kuwait, as well as those of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, reports Al Rai.

Al-Sabaan revealed that they tracked the expatriate's movements in and out of several properties located in Salmiya. They identified one expatriate who was renting more than six properties. The committee promptly arrested him and referred him to the appropriate authorities for legal action and deportation from the country.
