KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The Kuwait national team will hold its first training session this evening at Qatar University Stadium as part of their training camp in Doha, preparing for the upcoming "Khaleeji Zain 26" tournament, which Kuwait will host from December 21 to January 3.
The Kuwait delegation arrived in Doha yesterday, led by Federation Board Member Ayman Al-Hussaini. The group includes technical and administrative staff along with 15 players: Suleiman Abdul Ghafoor, Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, Mahdi Dashti, Montaser Abdul Salam, Ali Khalaf, Salman Al-Awadhi, Bandar Bursali, Hamad Harbi, Nasser Khader, Hassan Hamdan, Fawaz Ayed, Youssef Majed, Moaz Al-Aseima, Reda Hani, and Mashari Ghannam. These players participated in the final training session in Kuwait recently.
Al-Qadsiya and Kuwait SC players are expected to join the squad on December 5. These include Khaled Al-Rashidi, Khaled Ibrahim, Mubarak Al-Fanini, Saud Al-Hoshan, Eid Al-Rashidi, Fahad Al-Hajri, Sami Al-Sanea, Moaz Al-Dhafiri, Rashid Al-Dosari, Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, Faisal Zayed, Khaled Al-Kharqawi, and Mohammed Daham.
Injuries prevented Mashari Ghannam and Youssef Nasser from traveling with the Kuwait Club, while Sultan Al-Enezi remains committed to his club Dhofar in Oman. Both Sultan and Youssef are expected to join the camp within the next two days.
The camp schedule includes three friendly matches: against Syria on December 9, Lebanon on December 12, and Yemen on December 15, marking the conclusion of the team's preparations.
