Kuwait Braces for Dusty, Cloudy Saturday with Chance of Thundery Rain

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: Kuwait is expected to experience hot and partly cloudy to cloudy weather on Saturday, with fresh winds raising dust and a chance of scattered rainfall, the Meteorology Department said.

The department forecast light to moderate southwesterly to southeasterly winds, occasionally becoming active at speeds of 15 to 55 km/h, which may cause rising dust.

There is also a chance of scattered rain across parts of the country.

During the night, the weather is expected to become mild and partly cloudy to cloudy, with southeasterly winds shifting to northwesterly winds. Wind speeds are expected to range between 12 and 50 km/h, occasionally becoming active and raising dust.

The Meteorology Department said there is a chance of rain during the night, which may become thundery at times.

The expected maximum temperature is 38 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is forecast at 26 degrees Celsius, according to readings for Kuwait International Airport. The Meteorology Department has also issued a weather watch for fresh winds, dust and possible thundery rain.
