KUWAIT CITY, March 24: The draw for the 2024-2025 Volleyball Federation Cup for all age groups took place at the Federation's headquarters in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex. The draw was supervised by the Federation’s Assistant Secretary, Naif Al-Khamili, and attended by members of the Competitions Committee, led by Jaber Qasim, along with club representatives. The Cup tournament will follow a knockout format for all age groups.
In the General Cup draw, 11 participating teams were split into two groups. Group A will be led by Kuwait Club, last season’s league champion, alongside Burgan, Al-Tadamon, Al-Sulaibikhat, Kazma, and Al-Yarmouk.
Group B will be headed by Al-Qadsia, last season’s Cup champion, with Al-Arabi, Al-Shabab SC, Al-Sahel, and Al-Nasr rounding out the group.
For the Under-19 Cup, which features seven teams, Al-Arabi was placed at the top of Group A, joined by Yarmouk and Al-Sahel. Group B will see Kuwait Club leading alongside Burgan, Kazma, and Qadsia.
In the Under-16 Cup, eight teams were divided into two groups. Group A includes Kazma, Qadsia, Al-Nasr, and Al-Sahel, while Group B features Kuwait Club, Al-Arabi, Burgan, and Yarmouk.
Finally, in the Under-14 Cup, Kazma was placed at the top of Group A, alongside Al-Shabab, Burgan, and Qadsia, while Group B includes Kuwait Club, Yarmouk, Al-Sahel, Sulaibikhat, and Al-Arabi.
In the league, Al-Shabab emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Al-Sahel.
