KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: Kuwait Club aims to extend its winning streak in the Handball League as it faces Al-Sulaibikhat at 7:30 pm in the tenth round of the preliminary stage. The round will also feature two additional matches: Kazma takes on Burqan at 6:00 pm, and Al-Sahel faces Al-Nasr at 4:30 pm. All matches are scheduled at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Hall Complex.
In the opening match, Kuwait Club currently holds fifth place with 10 points, having won all its matches so far. The team seeks to maintain its perfect record and edge closer to the league leader. Some of Kuwait Club’s and Kazma’s matches were postponed earlier due to their participation in the Asian Championship, which concluded in Doha last November.
Al-Sulaibikhat enters the contest in sixth place, the final spot qualifying for the Premier League, also with 10 points. Despite the challenging task of facing the reigning champion of the past 12 seasons, Al-Sulaibikhat is determined to deliver its best performance and aim for a positive result.
The second match promises excitement as third-place Burqan (13 points) squares off against fourth-place Kazma (10 points). Burqan has lost only one of its eight games and drawn another, showcasing strong form as it looks to outplay the undefeated "Orange."
In the final matchup, Al-Nasr, currently 11th with 6 points, is favored to claim victory over Al-Sahel, who languishes at the bottom of the standings in 14th place without a single point.
