KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: Kuwait Club dominated Al-Nassr in a convincing victory with a substantial margin of 137-72 in their recent basketball league clash during the third round of the second division. Simultaneously, Al-Sulaibikhat secured a resounding win over Al-Tadamon with a scoreline of 99-74 in another match of the league.

The league is structured into two sections, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals and vying for the championship title. Following this commanding win, Kuwait elevated its score to 20 points, while Al-Nasr accumulated 15 points. Similarly, Sulaibikhat increased its tally to 19 points, leaving Al-Tadamon with 12 points.

In the initial matchup, defending champions Al-Abyad asserted control over the game from the outset, displaying prowess in both defensive and offensive facets. The first quarter concluded with a dominant 29-15 lead for Al-Abyad. The team continued its supremacy in the second quarter, propelled by standout performances from players like Hamad Adnan and American Marcus Hunt, both contributing 25 points each. The halftime score stood at a commanding 72-28. Al-Abyad's star, Mohamed Adnan, showcased remarkable brilliance in the third quarter, scoring 28 points and propelling the team to a 119-48 lead. Despite the efforts of Al-Nassr's American professional Hedgeman, who notched 38 points, the last quarter offered no reprieve, resulting in a substantial 65-point victory for Al-Abyad, concluding at 137-72.

In the second encounter, Sulaibikhat continued its pursuit of the fourth qualifying spot for the semi-finals. The team effortlessly outplayed Al-Tadamon, establishing leads of 33-13, 46-29, and 66-54 in the first three quarters before ultimately securing a decisive triumph with a final score of 99-74.
