KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Kuwait Club has secured a contract with former Burgan professional, Samido, who will join the team for the 39th Arab Clubs Championship. Kuwait Club will host the tournament at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex Hall from September 15-25. The club is also close to finalizing a deal with Egyptian player Mamdouh Hashem, currently playing in the French League, to strengthen its lineup for the same championship.

Ahead of the Arab Championship, Kuwait Club will embark on an external training camp in Croatia from September 1-13, where it will engage in several friendly matches.

Following its participation in the Arab Championship, Kuwait Club will resume its postponed Federation Cup matches from last season. The team will then travel to Cairo for another external camp before competing in the 27th Asian Handball Clubs Champions Championship to be hosted by Al-Rayyan in Qatar from November 13-24.

Meanwhile, Asian Men's Clubs League Championship draw is set for the 27th of this month. The Asian Handball Federation has announced that the draw for the 27th Asian Men's Clubs League Championship "Super Globe Qualifiers - Egypt 2025" will take place on August 22. The draw will be held at the Qatar Handball Federation headquarters. The championship, featuring 11 clubs, will be hosted by Al Rayyan in Qatar from November 13-24.

Kuwait will be represented in the tournament by Kuwait Club and Kazma, alongside other teams including Al Rayyan (Qatar), Al Duhail (Qatar), Al Khaleej (Saudi Arabia), Sharjah (UAE), Al Shabab (Bahrain), Ahli Sidab (Oman), Al Karkh (Iraq), Uzbekistan, and Mes Kerman (Iran).
