Kuwait City, Nov 2: Al-Kuwait Club has surged to the top of the Zain Premier League standings after a dominant 4-1 victory over Al-Fahaheel in the seventh round of matches. Benefiting from Al-Arabi's 1-3 loss to Al-Nasr, Al-Kuwait now boasts 17 points, placing them 3 points ahead of Al-Arabi in the league table.
The goals for Al-Kuwait Club were orchestrated by Ahmed Al-Zenki in the 35th minute, followed by strikes from Muhammad Freih in the 53rd minute, Muhammad Daham in the 58th minute, and Fawaz Mbilish in the 87th minute. On the opposing side, Al-Fahaheel managed to salvage some pride with a goal from the Brazilian forward, Julio Cesar, in the 73rd minute.
