Kuwait Club celebrates after winning the Super Cup.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: Kuwait Club's futsal team claimed the 2024-2025 local Super Cup title after a thrilling 7-6 victory on penalties over Kazma. The match ended 5-5 after regular and extra time, setting the stage for a dramatic shootout. Kuwait Club’s experienced players played a pivotal role in securing the win, particularly after trailing by two goals early in the game. Despite this, they mounted a strong comeback to claim the cup in a marathon match where both teams showcased periods of dominance.

Kazma took an early lead with goals from Brazilian Chris and Radhi Al-Hamdan, while Kuwait Club’s first goal came from Spaniard Borja Diaz. In the second half, Abdulrahman Al-Tawil leveled the score for Kuwait Club, only for Kazma's Chris to restore the lead. Despite being down a player, Kuwait equalized again through Stringari.

Kazma's woes deepened when they conceded an own goal by Saleh Haidar, but Romanian Felipe Manca brought the score back to 4-4. Stringari then scored Kuwait Club‘s fifth goal, only for Ali Yasser to equalize once again, sending the match to penalties, where Kuwait emerged victorious.
