KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: Kuwait Club continued to dominate the basketball league, securing its fourth consecutive win with a commanding 122-80 victory over Al-Nasr in the fifth round. In the same round, Al-Qurain triumphed over Al-Tadhamun 93-67. This victory brought Kuwait Club’s total to 8 points, having won all four of its matches, while Al-Nasr remains with 6 points. Al-Qurain now has 4 points, and Al-Tadhamun has 3.

After the second half of the merged league, the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals, where the first-place team will face the fourth, and the second-place team will meet the third.

Kuwait Club asserted its dominance from the start, thanks to strong performances from players like Hamad Adnan, Alexander Al-Ghais, and American standout Robert, who was the team's top scorer with 24 points. Kuwait Club ended the first quarter with a comfortable 32-13 lead. The team continued to control the game in the second quarter, extending its lead to 60-28 by halftime. The third and fourth quarters saw no change in momentum, as Kuwait Club remained firmly in control, finishing the third quarter 95-55, and wrapping up the match with a 122-80 victory.

In the second match, Al-Qurain earned a well-deserved win over Al-Tadhamun, dominating throughout the game. They led 27-17 after the first quarter, 53-33 at halftime, and 70-55 after the third quarter, ultimately securing a 93-67 victory.
