KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5: The Supreme Organizing Committee for the His Highness the Crown Prince Shooting Championship has finalized its preparations for the upcoming competitions, set to commence next Saturday. The event will feature participation from numerous Gulf and Arab teams, alongside the Kuwaiti team.

The Kuwait Shooting Federation, led by Engineer Duaij Al-Otaibi, is set to kick off the new season of the His Highness the Crown Prince Championship. This year's competition promises to showcase intense rivalries among both male and female shooters.

Obaid Al-Osaimi, Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti and Arab Federations and Director of the Championship, has circulated the latest instructions to the working committees under the Supreme Organizing Committee, emphasizing the need to ensure smooth organization and address any potential challenges faced by the participating teams.

Ahmed Al-Kuwari, head of the Qatari delegation, confirmed that the team arrived in Kuwait two days ago in anticipation of the championship, which unites brothers from all Arab nations. He stated, "We prioritized our early arrival in Kuwait to adequately prepare for the championship, where the Qatari team aims to achieve significant successes across all events."

Al-Kuwari noted that the Qatari delegation comprises 31 shooters and administrators, with five players participating in each event, including "trap," "skeet," and mixed competitions. Among the notable shooters are Qatari champion Nasser bin Saleh Al-Attiyah, Rashid Al-Hajri, Mohammed Al-Kuwari, Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, and Rashid Al-Athba. He highlighted that the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad International Shooting Complex is a premier sports venue that all Gulf and Arab nations take pride in, inspiring shooters to consistently perform at their best.
