Kuwait concludes local training before departure to Doha

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: Kuwait's national team will conclude its local training today at 8:00 pm at the Health Institute in Bayan, ahead of its departure tomorrow for a training camp in Doha, which will run until mid-December. This camp is part of Kuwait's preparations for the upcoming "Khaleeji Zain 26" tournament, set to take place in Kuwait from December 21 to January 3. During the Doha camp, Kuwait will play three friendly matches against Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon.

The draw for the " Khaleeji Zain 26" placed Kuwait in Group A alongside Qatar, the UAE, and Oman, while Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen were drawn into Group B.

Several key players will miss Kuwait's local training sessions, including Al-Qadsia players Khalid Ibrahim, Khalid Al-Rashidi, Eid Al-Rashidi, Rashed Al-Dosari, Mubarak Al-Fanini, and Moaz Al-Dhafiri, as well as Kuwait players Fahad Al-Hajri, Sami Al-Sanea, Abdulrahman Kamil, Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, Reda Hani, Mishari Ghannam, Faisal Zayed, Mohammed Daham, Yousef Nasser, and Khaled Al-Kharqawi. These players are committed to their respective clubs in the Gulf Clubs Championship and the AFC Champions League. They are expected to join the national team on December 5, after their club duties conclude.
