Kuwait condemns Criminal Iranian attacks on Jordan and UAE

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Kuwait on Monday strongly condemned what it described as criminal Iranian missile attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan early Monday, saying the strikes were a flagrant violation of Jordan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks posed a threat to the security and stability of the region.

Kuwait reaffirmed its full solidarity with Jordan and said it stands firmly by the kingdom and supports all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

Also, Kuwait on Monday strongly condemned what it described as a criminal Iranian drone attack targeting the United Arab Emirates, saying the incident constituted a flagrant violation of the UAE’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack threatened the region's security and stability.

Kuwait reaffirmed its full solidarity with the UAE. It stressed its support for all measures taken by the country to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security and preserve the integrity of its territory.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following a series of attacks and military strikes involving Iran, the United States and their regional allies.
