KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: Kuwait’s Criminal Court postponed the trial of media personality Fajr Al-Saeed to February 6, 2025, and denied her request for release.
During the court session, Al-Saeed denied the charges leveled against her, which pertain to alleged calls for normalization with Israel.
The case stems from a complaint filed by the Ministry of Interior, accusing Al-Saeed of actions deemed harmful to Kuwait’s national interests and violating the Unified Law for Boycotting Israel No. 21 of 1964. The court proceedings remain ongoing
