KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: The Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department conducted an inspection campaign in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, targeting commercial establishments to ensure compliance with consumer protection regulations.
The campaign was carried out by inspectors from the Capital and Al Farwaniyah Governorates, who detected several violations during the inspection tour.
The violations included failure to display prices, failure to provide consumers with receipts, and failure to clearly indicate the country of origin of products.
Following the inspection, official violation reports were issued against the establishments concerned and referred to the Commercial Prosecution for further legal action.
The inspection campaigns are part of ongoing efforts by the authorities to ensure compliance with commercial regulations and protect consumer rights.
