The Electricity Control Department continues its campaigns to monitor violators.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Ahmed Al-Shammari, the head of the Judicial Enforcement Team within the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, has disclosed that in recent days, the team conducted extensive campaigns across Kuwait's governorates to address infringements and violations in alignment with Law 48/2005 and Resolution 121/2016. The primary objective of these efforts is to curtail violations within the electricity and water networks.

Al-Shammari elaborated on the team's actions, stating, "Several collaborative campaigns were executed in conjunction with governmental agencies and entities in industrial cities and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. These initiatives have effectively addressed numerous severe violations, including unauthorized connections and manipulation of fuses, breakers, and meters. This lays the groundwork for referring offenders to the Committee for Implementing the Provisions of Law 48/2005 for appropriate legal actions."

He emphasized the team's readiness for the upcoming rainy season, assuring that they are fully equipped to receive and address reports in coordination with relevant sectors.
