KUWAIT CITY, Mar 6: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has increased its field inspection tours to monitor markets and stores during the holy month of Ramadan. The aim is to ensure compliance with health standards and maintain the quality of products, particularly food items. These inspections included a thorough review of storage practices, product expiration dates, and price monitoring to prevent any exploitation during this high-demand period. Additionally, random product samples were collected for necessary laboratory testing.

The Ministry emphasized that any violations will be addressed strictly, per the relevant regulations, which may include financial penalties or the closure of non-compliant stores. Consumers have been urged to carefully check the quality of products and report any violations through official channels.
