Kuwait Crushes Reckless Driver's Modified Car After Viral Video

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: The Ministry of Interior has arrested a motorist accused of reckless driving after a video showing him performing dangerous manoeuvres circulated on social media.

The Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate seized the vehicle in the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area following field monitoring and surveillance by the Vehicle Operations Section of the Operations and Patrols Department.

The vehicle was identified after the driver's reckless acts were captured in a video circulating on social media.

The vehicle was initially impounded and taken to the Ali Sabah Al-Salem Police Station, where a case was registered against its owner for endangering the lives of others. Later the impounded vehicle was sent to the crusher.

The General Traffic Department, represented by the Security Control Department, subsequently tracked down and arrested the driver.

Legal action was taken against him, and he was transferred to the Central Prison. The vehicle was impounded and sent to the crusher

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its continued monitoring of reckless driving violations and warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone who endangers the lives of other road users.
