KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: Kuwait's customs officers successfully thwarted a major drug smuggling operation, seizing approximately 1.8 million pills suspected to be Captagon at Shuwaikh Port. The Northern Ports Customs Administration uncovered the narcotics during routine inspections, concealed inside a shipment of sofas and coffee tables. The officers, upon suspecting the items, discovered yellow pills hidden within the goods. A seizure report was promptly filed, and the confiscated items were referred to the competent authorities for further investigation. This operation marks another significant step in Kuwait's ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and contraband.
