KUWAIT CITY, July 16: Today, the General Administration of Customs unveiled its latest initiative aimed at bolstering security measures across Kuwait's customs ports. A state-of-the-art pallet inspection device has been introduced to enhance efforts in detecting and preventing smuggling activities that pose risks to national security.
Deployed initially at Shuwaikh Port (Gate 3 - Customs Inspection Ram) and Land Customs, the device integrates seamlessly into existing operational frameworks. Previously, similar technologies were successfully implemented at Doha Port and the Air Customs Department, underscoring the administration's commitment to advancing its security infrastructure.
Manufactured by Smiths Detection, a renowned leader in security solutions, the new device represents cutting-edge technology renowned for its high-precision inspection capabilities.
