KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: The Customs department in Sulaibiya seized large quantities of subsidized food being smuggled out from Kuwait, subsidized food items which are prohibited for sale. The seized food items were handed over to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to take necessary action. Expats and Kuwaitis are being warned to avoid smuggling of subsidized food items to avoid legal hassles.
