Kuwait Declares Public Holiday for Isra and Mi'raj from Jan 30 to Feb 1

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: The Cabinet, in its weekly meeting held on Tuesday at the Amiri Airport under the chairmanship of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, decided to suspend work across all ministries, government agencies, public authorities, and institutions on Thursday, January 30, in observance of the Isra and Miraj anniversary. Official working hours will resume on Sunday, February 2. A statement from the Council clarified that agencies with special work requirements will determine their holiday schedules in coordination with the relevant authorities, considering their operational needs and public interest.
