NEW DELHI, Dec 9: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in India participated in the annual charity bazaar organized by the Commonwealth Women’s Charity Association in New Delhi on Sunday. The event was held in collaboration with accredited diplomatic missions and was supervised by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.

Kuwaiti Ambassador to India, Mishal Al-Shamali, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Kuwait has always been committed to supporting charitable activities and humanitarian efforts. He emphasized that the proceeds from the bazaar would be directed towards various charitable initiatives, including aiding underprivileged families and orphanages, providing school supplies, and contributing to the treatment of incurable diseases.

Ambassador Al-Shamali further noted that humanitarian work has long been a cornerstone of Kuwaiti society, with the leadership, government, and people dedicated to doing good deeds. He also commended the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continuous support in ensuring the success of the embassy's initiatives and events.

The Embassy of Kuwait set up a large pavilion at the bazaar, featuring a range of local products, including food, sweets, antiques, perfumes, and traditional Kuwaiti clothing such as bishts and abayas. Several other Arab and foreign embassies in New Delhi also participated, showcasing their local products at the one-day event.
