KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Kingdom of Thailand has issued a precautionary advisory for Kuwaiti citizens visiting the country, urging them to comply with local regulations regarding motorcycle rentals, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The embassy emphasized the importance of possessing an international driving license when renting motorcycles and highlighted the necessity of wearing a helmet to ensure safety and avoid legal repercussions.
Moreover, the citizens are advised to rent motorcycles exclusively from offices licensed by the Thai Ministry of Tourism to ensure proper compliance and avoid potential disputes. For assistance in case of emergencies or further guidance, the embassy recommended calling the Thai emergency hotline at 1155. This advisory underscores the embassy’s commitment to the safety and well-being of Kuwaiti citizens traveling abroad, encouraging them to adhere to local laws and regulations.
