Kuwaiti junior artistic gymnastics team with officials.

ATHENS, Nov 14: The Kuwaiti junior artistic gymnastics squad concluded their impressive participation in the Horizon International Cup in Athens on a high note, amassing a total of 13 medals, including 7 golds, 3 silvers, and 3 bronzes.

The Kuwaiti team secured gold in the junior team competition, with gymnast Abdullah Behbehani showcasing exceptional skills by individually claiming 3 gold medals in the all-around, vault, and horizontal bars, along with a silver in the parallel apparatus.

Musa Al-Sahhaf contributed to the medal tally with 3 golds in the horizontal bar, parallel bars, and vault table, in addition to a bronze in the all-around. Rashid Al-Kandari earned two silver medals in the parallel apparatus and vault table. Meanwhile, athlete Mohammed Al-Hatem clinched two bronze medals in the vault and parallel bars categories for the youth division.

The team's first-day performance yielded 5 medals, with Abdullah Behbehani securing 3 golds, and Al-Kandari, Hussein Dashti, and Muhammad Al-Hatem each earning a silver.

Fahd Al-Soula, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation, expressed pride and delight in these remarkable achievements in a competitive tournament featuring advanced artistic gymnastics teams from 10 European countries. Al-Soula extended congratulations to the head of the delegation, Muhammad Al-Daihani, the athletes, and the technical and administrative staff, acknowledging the emerging players' demonstration of their capabilities and responsibility in representing Kuwait with honor at the international event.
