KUWAIT CITY, Jan 5: The Chairman of the Kuwait Football Association, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, along with the Board of Directors, expressed their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, for his generous patronage of the “Khaleeji Zain 26”. They also extended their gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, for honoring the final match with his presence. The championship concluded on Saturday evening at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, featuring an exciting face-off between the Bahraini and Omani national teams.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef and the Board congratulated the Bahraini national team on securing the Championship title with a 2-1 victory over Oman in a thrilling final match. He also commended the outstanding performances of both teams, highlighting the high level of competition displayed on the field.

The Chairman extended his gratitude to all entities that contributed to the success of this Gulf football event. He acknowledged the invaluable support of the government, which played a significant role in the championship’s exceptional organization, earning widespread admiration and appreciation from all participating delegations.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef also praised the fans for their remarkable attendance and cooperation with the organizing committee.
