Kuwait Argentine coach, Juan Antonio Pizzi

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 16: Kuwait Argentine coach, Juan Antonio Pizzi, has announced the squad for the upcoming  Khaleeji Zain 26, set to kick off in Kuwait this Saturday and run until January 3.

The squad comprises 26 players: Khaled Al-Rashidi, Salman Abdul Ghafoor, Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, Hamad Harbi, Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, Mubarak Al-Fanini, Youssef Nasser, Nasser Khader, Hassan Hamdan, Youssef Majed, Ali Khalaf, Khaled Ibrahim, Mashari Ghannam, Mohammed Daham, Sami Al-Sanea, Rashid Al-Dosari, Salman Al-Awadhi, Bandar Burseli, Moaz Al-Dhafiri, Faisal Zayed, Fahad Al-Hajri, Sultan Al-Enezi, Reda Hani, Eid Al-Rashidi, Moaz Al-Aseima, and Fawaz Ayed. Four players have been excluded from the final list: goalkeeper Saud Al-Hoshan, Mahdi Dashti, Montaser Abdulsalam, and Khaled Al-Kharqawi.

The team will hold a training session today at 6:00 pm at Thamer Stadium, following its return from an external training camp in Doha, Qatar. During the camp, the team played several friendly matches, including its most recent game against Lebanon two days ago, where it suffered a 2-0 defeat. As part of its final preparations, the "Blues" will enter an internal training camp tomorrow, which will continue until the tournament's opening day, culminating in a friendly match against the Omani team.
