KUWAIT CITY, March 15: Chairman of Kuwait Football Association Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef said the association’s Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub as the new Secretary General; citing the latter’s vast experience in the sports sector and his strong commitment to his work in recent years, reports Al-Anba daily.
Al-Majroub held several vital positions in the sports community, including Assistant Secretary General of the association and Secretary General of the Al-Fahaheel Club.
Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef also confirmed that Al-Jazira Club's participation in both the Amir Cup and Crown Prince Cup tournaments remains valid, following a letter from FIFA in this regard.
He also invited private-sector companies interested in participating in the tournaments next season to submit their applications during the summer.
