Players fight for the ball during Kuwait-Afghanistan match in Thailand.
BANGKOK, Sept 3: Kuwait's futsal team secured its first victory yesterday in the friendly continental championship held in Bangkok, Thailand. Kuwait triumphed 4-3 over Afghanistan. Abdul Latif Al-Abbasi led the way with two goals, while Abdulaziz Bourashed and Saleh Al-Fadel each contributed one goal. This win comes after losses against Thailand and Guatemala.
The team is using this tournament as key preparation for its upcoming participation in the Asian Indoor Games, which will also take place in Thailand from November 21 to 30.
