KUWAIT CITY, June 6: The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Handball Association, held recently at the Association’s headquarters in Daiya, was led by Vice President Shabib Al-Hajri and attended by all members. Several key decisions were made, including the approval to establish an external training camp for the senior team in Slovenia and Croatia from August 15 to early September. This camp aims to prepare the team for the 2025 World Cup finals, scheduled to be held in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway next January.

The Training and National Teams Authority, headed by Secretary Qayed Al-Adwani, developed a roadmap approved by the Board to prepare national teams at all levels. This includes a camp in Slovenia and Croatia for players born in 2008, running from August 10 to early September, in preparation for the Arab Junior Championship in Tunisia.

Additionally, an external training camp will be held in Sharjah for players born in 2010, in preparation for the first Arab Handball Festival in Egypt from August 15 to September 1.

Handball referees will also participate in an external training camp and studies in Slovenia and Croatia from August 17 to September 2, coinciding with the national team's camp, based on the referees’ committee's recommendation.

The Board of Directors also approved the Arabi Club’s request to host the 39th Arab Club Championship, League, and Cup Champions.

In the Premier Handball League, the Kazma team suffered its first loss to Kuwait Club, 31-26 in the eighth round. The round also saw Al-Arabi triumph over Burgan 37-27 and Al-Qadisiya defeat Salmiya 36-33.
