KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: Celebrating their landmark victory, the Kuwait Handball Club team, after emerging triumphant as the 38th Arab Club Championship Cup champions, arrived back home on Monday. Their historic win was achieved by defeating the Egyptian Zamalek team with a score of 31-30 in the final match of the tournament, which took place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As the team returned, a fervent reception awaited them, with sports enthusiasts and players' families brimming with joy. The victorious team was greeted with exuberant enthusiasm and adorned with wreaths to commemorate their exceptional performance throughout the tournament.
Among the dignitaries present to extend their accolades were Shabib Al-Hajri, the Vice-President of the Kuwait Handball Association, Qaid Al-Adwani, the Secretary, and Balsam Al-Ayoub, a member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Club.
