MUSCAT, Oct 30: The draw for the FIFA Hexagonal World Cup “Socca World Cup Oman 2024” was held t at the Oman International Convention and Exhibition Centre, setting the stage for Muscat to host the tournament from November 28 to December 8. This marks the first time the event will be held in the Middle East, featuring 40 teams from across the globe.
Kuwait will face Greece, Belgium, Cyprus, and Iraq in Group C. Oman, the host nation, is in Group A along with the United States, Italy, Canada, and Qatar. Group B includes Germany, Bulgaria, Georgia, Libya, and Serbia. In Group D, Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, Colombia, and Iran will compete, while Group E features Poland, France, Turkey, Pakistan, and Haiti. Group F consists of Mexico, Latvia, Albania, Peru, and Australia. Group G brings together Kazakhstan, England, Romania, Uruguay, and Sudan, and Group H includes Croatia, Hungary, Argentina, Tunisia, and South Africa.
