KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: According to a government report, Kuwait is in the process of establishing wireless monitoring stations to monitor illegal and unlicensed use of telecommunication services. These monitoring stations will contain modern and advanced devices, cars and mobile devices that will monitor the radio waves in the country, reports Al-Anba daily.

The report, which was issued by the Public Authority for Communications and Information Technology, showed that the authority’s projects include one for establishing wireless monitoring stations to monitor illegal and unlicensed uses of the services, monitor and resolve interferences on various telecommunication systems in Kuwait, and evaluate uses of frequencies licensed to various authorities in the country. The report showed that the project completion will take about 15 months, indicating that it is now in the awarding stage
