Kuwait Intensifies Crackdown on State Property Encroachments

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: Kuwait Municipality’s Public Relations Department has announced an intensified crackdown on encroachments on state property across investment, commercial, and residential areas. As part of this initiative, municipal teams are conducting extensive inspection tours across all governorates.


Eng. Fahad Al-Muwaizri, Head of the Violations Removal Department at the Farwaniya Governorate Municipality Branch, revealed that recent field inspections led to the removal of 43 encroachments and the issuance of 16 removal warnings in areas including Abdullah Al-Mubarak, South Abdullah Al-Mubarak, West Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Sabah Al-Nasser, and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The Public Relations Department reaffirmed that these inspection campaigns will continue, urging violators to comply with municipal regulations and remove unauthorized structures to avoid legal consequences.
