Kuwait-Iraq match: Addressing violations and compensating fans

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: The recent match between the Kuwaiti and Iraqi national teams, held on September 10 at Jaber Stadium, has led to significant consequences due to organizational failures described as a "scandal." In light of this, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has requested a comprehensive report from Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs. This report is expected to detail the actions taken following the Cabinet's decision to refer the observed violations during the match to the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs.

The committee's role is to evaluate necessary measures against any officials deemed negligent and to propose remedies for the violations, including compensation for the affected fans. The Secretariat has set a deadline for this memorandum to be submitted by today to facilitate a thorough discussion at the committee's upcoming meeting.
