KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: The Kuwaiti men's national padel team kicked off its campaign in the third edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup with a dominant 3-0 win over Saudi Arabia. The tournament is being held at the Regency Hotel courts and will continue until the day after tomorrow.
In another match, the UAE men's team also triumphed 3-0 against Oman.
Today, the Kuwaiti men's team will face Bahrain in their third and final match of the preliminary round.
The Kuwaiti women's national team also secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the Omani team managed to edge out the UAE with a 2-1 win.
The Kuwaiti women's team will rest today and will meet Oman tomorrow, Saturday, in their final match of the league-style competition. The team with the most points will secure first place in the women's standings.
