KUWAIT CITY, Sep 20: Kuwait’s First Circuit Court of Appeal has rejected an appeal and upheld prison sentences against 15 defendants convicted in a prostitution case involving massage parlors.

The court upheld a seven-year prison sentence and a KD 7,000 fine against a Kuwaiti citizen, while 13 expatriates were sentenced to five years in prison and another defendant to two years.

The ruling leaves the sentences in place following the court’s rejection of the challenge.
