KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: According to informed sources from the Ministry of Public Works, emergency teams have been deployed in all six governorates to address the impact of the current rainfall, in coordination with the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART).

They explained that there were no significant water accumulations or flooding on any internal roads or expressways that could disrupt traffic. The rainfall amounts were within the capacity of the ministry’s drainage network.

The ministry highlighted its ongoing collaboration with other government agencies to manage any challenges posed by rainwater. It is closely following up weather forecasts from the Meteorological Department to ensure readiness for any weather conditions. The Ministry of Public Works has called on the public to report any water accumulation or related issues by contacting the hotline No. 150 or via WhatsApp.

In a related development, the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) is on high alert at all fire stations and is ready to respond to any emergencies that are reported to the operations room related to the rainfall.

Also, security personnel, patrol teams, and rescue teams have been deployed to help manage traffic and ensure public safety. In addition, the Kuwait Army also announced that the Ghaith Task Force is on standby and fully prepared to provide support, assistance, and logistical and humanitarian services in response to the heavy rainfall and current weather conditions.
